October 2021 ThinkAgile SXM update release (SXMBR2110)

Important: The OEM Extension Package in this Best Recipe includes functionality to perform automated firmware updating on all scale unit nodes. Do not attempt to update to this OEM Extension Package until LXCA has been prepared to perform system firmware updates. Refer to the Configure XClarity Administrator for a specific Best Recipe topic in the ThinkAgile SXM Information Center for details on how to prepare LXCA.

Important: If you are running a Lenovo ThinkAgile SXM solution that uses x3650 M5 servers for scale unit nodes, do NOT update to SXMBR2110 firmware levels until after working directly with Lenovo engineers to prepare your nodes for this update. Please contact Lenovo Support and reference TIP #103450 for details.

Important: While updating scale unit nodes to this Best Recipe, if LXCA shows that the Solid State Disk Drive Firmware update task has "Stopped With Error" you can safely ignore this message. This false failure message is due to a known timing issue that is corrected by the firmware in this Best Recipe and should not occur in the future. For the same reason, scale unit nodes might show "Not Compliant" immediately after the update completes, but this should resolve on its own within 10-15 minutes.
