For Lenovo ThinkAgile MX solutions running Azure Local 23H2 and later

The Solution Builder Extension (SBE) is now available for certain Lenovo ThinkAgile MX solutions. For more information about SBE, check the following Microsoft SBE Article.

The Standard SBE update package is used to fully update an Azure Local instance, including system firmware, device drivers, and the operating system, and provides instructions for its use. If you are running Azure Local 23H2 or later and want to take advantage of the benefits of SBE, the SBE update package can be downloaded below.

March 2025 ThinkAgile MX SBE update package release (Lenovo_SBE_MXBR2503) for:

- ThinkAgile MX630 V3 Certified Node or Integrated System (7D6U)
- ThinkAgile MX650 V3 Certified Node or Integrated System (7D6S)
- ThinkAgile MX450 Edge Integrated System (7DG7)
- ThinkAgile MX455 V3 Edge Integrated System (7DGG)

The zip archive in the table below is used to automatically update ThinkAgile MX solutions listed above using the Solution Builder Extension. Note that there is no Best Recipe update for the MX450 Edge IS solution in this release, so the SBE package in this release will only update the OS for this solution.

For Lenovo ThinkAgile MX solutions running Azure Local 22H2 or Windows Server Storage Spaces Direct (S2D)

The Solution Builder Extension (SBE) is not compatible with Azure Local 22H2. For ThinkAgile MX solutions running 22H2, the update packages found in the table below are used to update firmware and device drivers. The OS will need to be updated manually to 23H2 in order to use the Standard SBE package found in the table above.
